Hi ! My name is Maureen, and I am a lifelong dog owner. My husband and I currently have a dog named Stella. She is a min-pin mix whose mother was a stray, brought into a shelter. Her mother was going to be euthanized due to having a broken tail, in addition to being pregnant. Thankfully, a rescue stepped in to save her.
The animal rescue world can be filled with so much joy and happiness. It can also be filled with sadness and heartache. My goal is to promote animal rescue organizations who are struggling to find adopters and donors. There are many shelters that have to euthanize perfectly healthy and adoptable dogs due to overcrowding.
